fun pole

Fun fishing pole. Great price on sale. Haven't felt like it was a mistake. Watch some videos on how to properly set the spool to the weight of your lure. You wont have a problem if you are new at bait casters. Most importantly, have fun. There are too many choices clogging the whole reason for a fishing trip. Smooth casting. Long casting. Sensitive. Fun. Comfortable grip.

Incredible for the price

Have been fishing with this combo for about a month, has handled 5 pound bass and hundreds of others easily. The rod isn't the most sensitive so I would use fluorocarbon or braid with this to have more feel. Backlashing is really not an issue with this reel, even with relatively low brakes. If you need a bait-caster combo for $50, get this one.
