These skillets feature an easy pour lip on the side and a loop on the handle, making them easy to hang up on a hook after use. A true space saver! All cookware pieces are pre-seasoned with natural plant oil for a superior cooking surface. Also, both 12" skillets feature a locking mechanism around the lip so one skillet can function as a lid and keep food warm from the heat of the lower skillet. With the Ozark Trail 3 Piece Cast Iron Skillet Set, you will have the versatility to create any meal for any size group. Wash before first use. Always allow cookware to cool before cleaning and washing. Hand washes only and dry immediately. After each use either wipe it down with a clean dry cloth or paper towel. If you prefer to use soap, then wash with mild soapy water and dry thoroughly and oil (season) immediately.

Don't miss this one!
It's a great product but remember; SEASON the pans first! They have a very rough grit to them and claim to be pre seasoned but I'm sure that is nothing more than the ‘factory' style of seasoning where it it quick heated. I use these pans daily and they are definitely better on a nonstick level than any Teflon coated pan will ever be; not to mention the fact you are cooking without chemical coatings by using cast iron. Product pricing/quality is a great value for this 3 piece set.

Happy with the product.. it came quickly. I didn't realize that it takes much less power to accomplish better results. I have an electric stove and make grilled cheese quite often. I only use 3-4 power level now instead of 7-8 with Teflon frying pan, and it makes such a better crunchy outside texture.

The pans appear to be nice and heavy, the only issue I see that might cause an issues is the pans have a pretty rough texture so I will be sanding them and reseasoning them before my first use. Other than that I don't forsee any major issues with them.
