The new version of my waterfall globe betta tank, now 3 gal

after 10+ years, the submersed wire to the motor of my old Tetra waterfall globe tank (glass)(1.7gal) just broke off, and I realized I still had a 2-year supply of filter cartridges! I was hesitant to buy a plastic tank, as all manufacturers use now, but I really like it, and they improved the filter motor, easy to clean. Just unplug and lift the unit up and out for service. The new tank is double the volume (3gal), so I added another plant and a larger rock. The light unit simply clips on the top. And there's now a cover with a feeding hole, I can't hear any motor noise. And though its 3 gal, the overall dimensions are quite similar to my old tank, fits on the same cabinet. These changes show that the engineers worked to make improvements to the original tank, which I'm keeping to use as a terrarium. ;)
