A really good gift
I got this as a Valentine's Day gift from my husband who loves LEGO. It was my first time experience and we both really enjoyed making it. It was fun and lovely to have these flowers . They look really pretty in our home.

Lego Cherry Blossom Stems
I treated myself to the Lego cherry blossom after being introduced to Lego flowers by my Husband. He bought me the Wildflower set for Christmas which I really enjoyed building. I've got that proudly displayed in my kitchen and wanted a little something for my living room. I really enjoyed building the cherry blossom and even managed to track down the exact same vase from H&M that is used on the Lego pictures online to display the branches. I'm so in love with this one. I cannot wait to build my orchid next. I generally kill house plants, and have really bad hay fever type allergies, so Lego flowers are perfect for me.

Great model - tricky build - until....
I really like this model it is probably the best of the supplementary "botanic" sets so far. But the build was a little frustrating and fiddly, it was really easy to knock flowers off while adding others... After building the first stem I went for a different approach - I made the core stem - but didn't attach the 2L bars - I then built the flower clusters separately (with the 2L bars in the quad SNOTs before adding all the other bits). So much easier to build that way - and the instructions would be bigger and clearer when putting each cluster together.
