GE 8-Outlet Surge Protector Extension Cord, Pro Series, 8ft. ? 37055

These reviews are asked for too quickly. So far, I think it is a great product. I trust GE products. I think the 8-foot length of the cord includes the plug portion also. It's a great length just the same.

i just bought this a few hours ago, and I really like it. I feel like it was a good buy, and that's for several reasons: 1) I really like how the outlets are spaced apart and separated into two rows. That gives you more room for adapter (big, boxy) plugs. 2) You get an impressive 8 outlets, and as mentioned, 4 of them are spaced out. That gives me room for my alarm clock, phone charger, laptop, lamp, heating pad, and hair dryer! 3) The cord is EIGHT feet long! most surge protectors I looked at only had 2 to 4-foot cords. An 8-foot cord allows me to plug it in discreetly behind my bed, and keep the outlets conveniently beside my bed, 4) A glowing light, clearly visible on the tip of the device, indicates that the surge protector is on and doing its job. it's bright enough to see, but not so bright that it's distracting. I would have gotten a pricier model with cable TV hookups, ethernet hookups, and other bells and whistles, but I'm glad I saved my money. I'm really happy with this one so far. ONE LAST USER TIP: For some items you plug in, you'll have to jam the plug into the outlet pretty hard. You almost have to force it. The outlets are really snug, and if you don't plug your device in all the way, they won't work. Push harder until the device is completely plugged in!
