Excellent Product, used over a decade.

This has just been a great product for me for over a decade. (Not the same one, I've dropped a few) Do use distilled water if you can, and keep it clean. Maintenance isn't terrible at all. The mineral build up is a gross but accurate demonstration of what causes kidney stones. Also run a bit of bleach through once a week to get any mold trapped in corners. Vinegar is also wonderful for cleaning it. I have an auto immune illness and my body just can't produce enough viscous fluids for my eyes, my mouth is constantly dry, and this is uncomfortable, but can lead to serious problems. If you wake up with dry eyes or sinuses? This WILL help. No annoying sound (unless I didn't clean it), I highly recommend this product. Wonderful all year round.

Great humidifier and customer support

It worked wonderfully until a week ago when water started running out of the bottom. Luckily I had it on a tray for this purpose. I would have given it a 5 star rating but having it break 3 months later prevented that. However, I called their customer support and they were happy to send me another humidifier. I spoke to Jamie, who was very nice!

So far so good

I’ve had a humidifier in the past and I recently decided to get another one since I have a history of asthma and to help combat this dry winter air. I haven’t had any leaking problems yet but then again I only use this on its lowest humidity setting. The heating element helps kill 95% of bacteria and that’s a plus since I’ll realistically be using tap water for this. I know that purified water is best but hey. I do have to clean it once a week though to remove the scale buildup and I find that a combo of distilled vinegar, lemon juice and hot water work best for me.
