My headphone jack has the red light issue every time I use it so I stopped due to possible motherboard failure. My only option to use headphones again was this and I kid you not this thing is awesome!!! It works great and I use the extentsion cable so I won't mess up the jack, great idea. This is the best solution for any headphone/mic jack problems :D
