Thill 's ClassicFloat Assortment Spring

The shorty and pencil floats are mostly what I use in the set, but sometimes I like the masted ovals because they can take a lot more weight under the float. Once dotted down and cocked correctly, the floats in the this assortment are very sensitive. The pencil floats are nearly as sensitive as a waggler, which is nice because they are shorter and easier to work with than wagglers (in fact, this set is so affordable that I purchased two of them so that I could remove the springs on the second set and drill a hole in each shank to use them the same way as a waggler, by placing locking split shot to either side of the float shank). You just can't beat the price of this little assortment, especially because they're made in the US. Nice quality sensitive balsa floats for the price of cheap foam. Nicely done, Thill.
