Sunpentown induction makes cooking fun

Induction cooking takes some adjustment time. Google cooking tips-helped a lot. Pros: FAST heat up Fast control of heat Clean-up a breeze 1/3 - 1/2 less energy use than my electric burner stove top. No wasted heat Temp or power setting. I prefer temp setting and with push of a button done. Return/replace worked great-more later Cons: My Misen non-stick 8" pan moves off center on its own. Flat bottom. Center of cooktop gets and stays very hot after cooking and pan removed Small cooking circle. 8" pan works great, 10" not as good. Requires moving pan around more. 12" - forget it. Temp setting no fine adjustment ... could use more setting choices Size - does take up space - minor issue Bottom line after a week of cooking with induction unit - I would do it again! More I use it and get use to it, better I like it. Return/replace: on 1st unit, after using it for a few times 1st day, noticed a small glass crack in left side corner. I could have hit something against it or heat defect who knows. Went back to my acct and asked for replacement. I did have extended warranty too. 48 hrs later replacement arrived ... Boxed up damaged unit and took to FedEx with provided label. Easy to do - quick process. Thumbs up for return/replace service.
