Tom Hanks stars as real-life hero Chesley Sullenberger in this drama based on the 2009 emergency landing of a US Airways flight on the Hudson River in New York. After a collision with a flock of birds disables his aircraft's engines, Sullenberger safely ditches the plane in the Hudson River. However, he must then fight to clear his name in an inquiry that could end his flying career.
