Zircon® StudSensor™ A100 Stud Finder with Wire Warning® Detection The Zircon® StudSensor™ A100 stud finder is designed to help locate the edges of wood and metal studs through drywall. It can also alert users to the presence of live, unshielded AC electrical wiring while scanning. This Zircon® tool features two scanning modes: Stud Scan and Deep Scan®. Find Stud Edges with Confidence and Be Alerted to Live AC Wiring The Zircon® Stud Sensor™ A100 tool offers straightforward operation. In Stud Scan mode, the tool detects wood and metal studs through one layer of drywall up to 3/4 inch (19 mm). Deep Scan® mode is designed to scan through two layers of drywall up to 1 1/2 inches (38 mm), providing enhanced detection capability through thicker walls. The Wire Warning® Detection feature alerts users to the potential presence of live, unshielded AC electrical wiring while scanning for studs. For best performance, always use a brand new 9V alkaline battery.

A little disappointing
I found it to be not as accurate as I had hoped. I followed instructions to the letter but after approaching from both sides of stud as directed. It left showing the stud as 2 inches wide. Of course a stud is 1 and half inches so not accurate. Maybe I just got a bad one. It looked to be a nice product.
