Stradella Bassoon Reed, Medium Hard

My daughter has tried various brands of oboe reeds. I purchased 2 of the Stradella Oboe reeds, medium soft to see if she might like them because they were a bit lower in cost. They come in a durable tube to protect them. The reeds look like they have a crease in them, which was unusual compared to other reeds, and when she played her oboe it was difficult and lots of high pitch squeaky notes came out. They can't be returned because they are used now, so she's going to keep them in her case for emergency back ups for practice.
