Good for converting VCR tapes to digital/DVD

I had an older version that had conflict with Windows 10. Driver signing had to be turned off to work I had the drivers installed. Windows found the SVIDUSB2323 immediately. The tech support was excellent. Two conversions of VCR movies worked smoothly with the earlier SVIDUSB232.

Good product - Does the job.

Bought this on Amazon Australia last week. Reviews weren"t very good, so I spoke with tech support and they assured me it would be fine - and it is! I'm using Windows 11 and recording from a VCR with component cables. Downloaded drivers from Startech website, then got a software link from tech support.They then ran me through a few setting changes and everything works fine. Records as an MKV file. Windows Media Player didn't have Codecs for audio, so downloaded VLC Mediaplayer from Playstore and they play fine. It's a good product and Tech support ( 2 Brandons ) were excellent!
