2008 debut solo album from the former leader of the Unbelievable Truth and brother of Radiohead's Thom. After the break up of his band, Andy spent a number of years in Moscow gathering his thoughts. Simple is stripped-back, acoustic and emotional, often similar to the quieter half of Neil Young's After the Gold Rush, Ryan Adams' Heartbreaker, Elliott Smith, Gillian Welch, early REM or Low.
