I bought this because I wanted a better way to display my house address to be seen from the road. I placed it at the bottom of my front porch steps, beside the walkway. The porch light does not affect it's brightness at all. Maybe because the light is behind it? Regardless, I like it. I'm using the brighter setting and it shows really well by the road. Now the delivery drivers should have no problem locating me!

I bought it for my 84 year old mothers yardI i tried solar lights on her address they don't work not enough sun light to make them energized. Just in case an ambulance has to be called. <-- hope that never happens. i recommend this product.
