It almost embarrassing to say but when I used this vacuum, it was like I never vacuumed my rugs before. It pulled up so much dirt an dust that my other vacuum didn't, I was amazed and disgusted at the same time. I don't wear shoes in the house but would shampoo my rugs every 3-4 months and the water would be so dark but it was just from the dust my old vacuum wasn't picking up. This vacuum has not only been a huge difference from my old stick vacuum, it's still light and compact, manuvers easy, extremely powerful, great price, I love the attachments and functionality, and has made a huge improvement on my allergies. I don't have pets but I have long hair and it doesn't get wrapped around the roller brush like my old vacuum. I can't say enough good things about this device. I just hope it last forever.

Shark vacs are the way to go. I had one for seven and a half years and it worked wonders, so I had to go out and buy another one. It's excellent and if you have pets and they're shedding the Shark vac gets it all up.
