SAFAVIEH Sumak Collection SK115B Handmade Ivory/Rust Rug The Sumak Collection is created in India using the traditional Turkish Sumak weave to create a chain-stitched brocaded effect that complements today's young, casual interior design schemes. This 100-percent wool collection was designed to meet consumer demand for rugs that coordinate with both country and coastal furniture. Flat-woven rugs are unique due to their method of construction. Unlike knotted wool rugs, flat-woven rugs are made on a loom. They are thin with a very low pile, making them ideal for an entryway where door clearance is an issue. However, they are extremely durable and many are reversible for extended life and beauty. Rug has an approximate thickness of 0.25 inches.
