The black part in the design is loops, not tufted, which is not so great with pets(claws). Otherwise, we love it! It's thick, anf cleans up really easily(vacuuming)

Not the color I expected

I ordered the 12' runner and I love it - it is a much better quality than I expected. The only issue I have is that I thought the spirals on the rug were more dark brown to black but they are actually 1/2 purple and brown. Overall it was worth the money.
