I bought this item as I was looking for something to style my hair faster and with ease, as well as give it some volume. I ordered the Versastyler the same day it came out and it arrived later that day. My hair is long with layers and honestly this makes by hair so easy to style and makes the layers look amazing. It has 3 different settings that you twist the ring to set: a blowdryer, hair styler, and a setting that heats the ceramic to help in smoothing the hair. It also has 3 modes for the heat and speed to set and a way to lock the settings as to not accidentally change them while styling your hair. The Versastyler is not too heavy where it makes it uncomfortable to handle and it took me about 25 minutes to complete my hair from start to finish. I will say that I previously had the Revlon that everybody was using but for some reason I couldn't get that one to work for me the way I wanted it to; I think that what makes the Versastyler work for my hair is the way the barrel is shaped (3 sides). For reference my hair is between a 3a and 3b. My only complaint that I do have at the moment is that the white "Revlon" printed on the handle wore off after only using it once and for the 25 minutes I used it.

My new favorite hair styling tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a hair styling tool that immediately replaced three items for me (blowdryer, curler, and straightener) was so convenient. It was nice not to have to switch between different styling tools, and even better that the blow out look I've been trying to obtain was easily accomplished because of the quality of the tool.
