7" Practice Drum Pad

I bought this item for my grandson for his 10th birthday. While it seems to be working well for him, I do wish the pad would have been available in a little bigger size, perhaps a 9" or 10". I hesitated to buy the 12" as with the added dimension you also have added weight. Still, he is enjoying practising the lessons I am giving him. The practice pad seems to be well made and is very portable. There is enough sound to get the general idea of a snare, but not so loud that it is annoying to those around him. A good investment on my part.
