great for repairs, but also labeling clothing

I purchased these for marking clothing for a family member in a care facility. they ofter send the clothes to the in house laundry and we're trying to get them back to him. it's difficult to write on darker items so that it's easily read by laundry personnel. Hopefully we will be able to retain most of these items.

Good price, works well.

I had a small bicycle accident that left my new cotton pants with a rip in the middle of the shin. I cut a small circle out of the patch. Ironed the patch to inside of the rip. Because I used the patch inside the garment, the color wasn't really important, but I do like the assortment of earthy tones as it matches most of my clothes. From the outside you can't even tell the pants were damaged unless you were actively looking for it. The pants have been washed a couple times and the patch is holding well. I don't use the dryer on them so I can't say how the patch would hold up there. I feel the patch is secure and reinforced. I recommend this for anyone looking to mend their clothes.
