Pool Essentials Chlorinating Liquid for Swimming Pools, 1 Gallon

This stuff is the bomb for cleaning the algae, mold and crud from deck's and fences. Within minutes it cut thru the the three year build up that the pressure washer wouldn't touch. The deck is composite and was still in good shape. Thought for sure we would have to replace it but saw a you tube video about cleaning old wooden fences and how someone used pool cleaner. I got this stuff and used it full strength. WOW. Ran out. Went to Wal-Mart and non left on the shelf. Bought another brand which was twice the price and it did not work at all. Just ordered another three gallons on line. This stuff is AMAZING

Good deal for the money, especially during these days of shortages and alarming inflation. I normally would use the 1 lb. packs of granules to shock my pool, but they're getting hard to find and increasingly expensive! This 1-gallon jug of chlorinating liquid seems to do the job pretty well, and I think it is close to the equivalent of nearly two of the standard shock packs in effectiveness. I use about 1/2 of a jug to shock my pool of 13,000 gallons, and that typically brings the chlorine level up from 1ppm to about 3ppm. (You do have to be careful about sloshing this product onto things; it's a powerful chemical that is harmful to skin, and it will also bleach fabric very quickly!)
