PlusTek OpticSlim 1180 ledger size scanner - super

PlusTek OpticSlim 1180 was the only readily available ledger-size (11x17 inches) flatbed scanner when I purchased my first one five years ago. Easy to install and use, worked well, scanned hundreds of newsletter and magazine pages, historical documents, and also fragile documents that could not go through my form-feed scanner. BEWARE! Do not tilt it as I did when recently moving. That knocks loose the scanner arm mechanics and then the motor burned out when I tried to restart it. This was my costly replacement for the first scanner.

The least expensive A3 scanner

This is the least expensive A3 flat reflective scanner that I could find. I am on my second one, the previous one lasted for about 10 years before the scanning assembly went out, although mechanically it was fine. If you do light scanning from time to time, this should work. Image quality is great.
