green salty, yellow sweet

I love plantains. I am all for shopping online and having items delivered. But for plantains you have to pick them in person so you get what you need. When they are green they are usually used to make things on the salty side, but then when they turn yellow they turn sweet. I wish Walmart had a green plantain and yellow plantain items, so you can pick what you want. Otherwise, I get the opposite of what I need. But plantains are yummy.

When is about plantains you really don't know...

The only reason I gave you a score of 4 is because if I have to place an order for delivery, I really don't know what I would get...but when I go to the store, it is different because I am selecting what I like. I always want green plantains, but so many times, I get ripe plantains. When I get green plantains, it is like a celebration!! 🍾 I wish I could put a note to specific: "only green plantains, please," but I have to say that I'm happy with Walmart and everything.

Too ripe

When I put in my order for delivery I didn’t except the person shopping to grab a fully ripe plantain. I ordered them with the intention of frying them. I have this issue with a few of the vegetables I purchase like when I buy avocados I except them to be ripe enough to be able to cut them and eat them but they are always hard as a rock. If there were a way to add instructions for the person shopping for pick up and delivery that would be great.
