About this item

Product details

Blue is a quiet color. Red's a hothead who likes to pick on Blue. Yellow, Orange, Green, and Purple don't like what they see, but what can they do? When no one speaks up, things get out of hand -- until One comes along and shows all the colors how to stand up, stand together, and count. As budding young readers learn about numbers, counting, and primary and secondary colors, they also learn about accepting each other's differences and how it sometimes just takes one voice to make everyone count.

Utterly Amazing

This book is a must-have for all ages. What the illustrator is able to convey with a couple of simple brush strokes is amazing. The author delivers a strong message with very few words. Priceless on so many levels. And an art book, on top of it!

interesting...

I read the reviews on many sites for this book - rated high so I decided to give it a chance. When I received it, I was kind of disapointed, but read it to my 4 year old anyway. Surprisingly, he requests this book often and has understood the concept from day one. I guess it does what it's supposed to so I give it 5 stars!
