I love that I can use this for more than just sandwiches! I make omelets, and fry up mashed potatoes like hashbrowns. I use it to sauté up thinly sliced onion and mushrooms to go into my omelets or sandwiches...I've made French toast with it as well.

I've only used once, but this seems to be a great item at a great price. Very convenient and easy to use. Perfect for when you want a hot sandwich but don't really want to break out a pan or heat up the stove. I imagine it saves energy as well. I don't know yet about quality in the long term.
