If you are on the fence about buying the shelves, do it! I never leave reviews unless something exceeds my expectations or is terrible. And I love these. The boxes had a little bit of damage on them, but the packaging was so well done that nothing was chipped or broken inside. But the boxes are massive so you might need two people to move them. Assembly was super easy and straightforward. It took my husband and I to put together two, I think in four hours. It sounds like a lot, but it's not. I was able to stack my books too deep. And arrange the shelves so that you could see behind. I even use the packaging for book risers. They are so sturdy and sleek and the bars give it an extra bit of character. I have been looking for something like this for a long time. I really hope to see more furniture from this line and in this color. 10/10!

The drawers are smooth but have some catch when you first open to ensure they don't accidentally open. The smooth outer finish feels nice to the touch. However the front ridged texture gives this a good look and feel. Would go great with the similar nightstand

I really like this book shelf. It very nice and very sturdy. I love how wide the shelves are I wouldn't have to worry if a book is to big. I like that I can use it for anything not only books. I can stack like family games and photos albums and many more. I live that I can adjust the shelves. The wood is really nice.
