Great product.

I bought quite a few things for an engine build for a customer from jegs. After assembling the engine and trying to break the new cam in we were having a problem with the timing jumping around. Long story short the brand new msd distributor had to be taking out because of manufacture defect and we had to put the customers old street fighter distributor back in it untill we receive the new one. Have yet had time to get ahold of msd to return the distributor.

Great distributor

I was starting a new engine for the first time with a low buck HEI from overseas and during the cam break in while setting the timing the timing kept jumping all over the place then about 15 minutes into the break in it just dies from the distributor losing spark. We replaced the module with a known good one, it fired up, but quickly lost spark again. I bought this distributor and all the problems disappeared. The timing was easy to set, and it has run flawlessly. I istalled this in my sons 1971 Buick Skylark (basically the same as a Chevelle) with a small block chevy engine, it was a little tight fitting as far as firewall clearance, but fit without modification, Great product!
