Just wanted I needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this Minwax pre-stain for my pine wood desk that I am currently doing some renovating work on. I must say that this product really helped bring out the grain of my desk. I was really impressed at the quality of this pre-conditioner. My desk looks wonderful there is no splotchy spots and I am in love with my new looking desk. I would definitely recommend!

Easy to apply and it works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impressions are that it is quite thin and that the odor is very low, which is quite nice. I took the advice of a lot of people on the internet and applied the wood conditioner and then the stain without letting the conditioner dry. This worked quite well! I also tested a piece of wood where I allowed the conditioner to dry as per the instructions on the can but I found that applying the stain immediately resulted in the fewest splotches.

Great project starter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to get my project of staining a wood shelf started. It was very easy to put on and clean top was very easy. I liked that it only took soap and water to clean it up off my brushes and hands. It made stinging the wood and breeze and my project came out awesome
