Works really well.

I've had mine for along time now. About three or four, I believe. Through Windows 7, 8 and now 10, and it works great. I've been very happy with it. I wanted to order another one when I got my second desktop, about two years ago, but unfortunatly the antenna was no longer available at the time (it was no longer even listed as an item Walmart sells), and I had believed it to be discontinued. Which bummed me out. Just happened to stumble across it available again, just now, and I'm going to go ahead and snap up a second one while I can. Even though my second desktop is much closer to my router, and technically doesn't need the antenna, I've been so happy with my first antenna I want a second one, even if it's just to have a future spare.

WiFi problem solved

This antenna solved my issue with my WiFi signal. We have an unattached garage that we have recently made into an office and my computer would not pick up a decent signal, and my IP wanted over $200 to come try to fix this issue but would not guarantee that it would work. I even tried a repeater, but still couldn't get a strong enough signal out to the garage. So I spent $34.00 and mounted the antenna on the outside of the garage facing the house where my modem is located about 350 ft away, it works GREAT. Boosted my signal strength to "Excellent". Easy to install, too. Note: This does have to be plugged into a USB port and will not work to boost any wireless device that is not connected with a wired connection.
