uses usb, others use audio jack, there are two main types of headphone. fully featured, crisp clean audio, great for gaming calls. i was very pleased and they are higher quality than the last usb logitech headset i owned. has some type of cushioning around the band which is nice, and the microphone folds only one direction and is on the opposite side as my last logitech headset. these were great value and i am happy with them. thanks walmart.

It arrived on time in a nice box. You receive a box with the headset in a fabric bag, with a Safety, Compliance and Warranty Information. The fit good enough for me but have not tried them long enough to have pain in my ears. Though I anticipate I could get some soreness based on how it clamps onto the head. The mute button is a nice functional touch. I tested it with different programs, and I helps to have 'double' level of muting-ability. For example, if I mute in discord, I can mute further with the Headset mute-button and that ensures that neither the app nor the headset has the microphone on. Quality of microphone is pretty good. Compared to directly speaking with someone, you can expect that the sound quality to be on the crispier side. This is by no means bad or extreme and is minimally noticeable to the listener. Note that flipping the microphone arm up does not mute the headset. It's just an arm. Quality of speaker is as you would expect, good. Do not expect to pick up low frequencies (bass) or higher frequencies, but overall, its balanced. Note your sounds will bleed, meaning if you removed the headset from your head, you could still hear sounds, but this is expected based on the material. The sound does bleed into the environment though. Controls are as expected: 1) Increase volume. 2) Decrease volume. 3) Mute central button. Material is a glossy plastic and in combination with the earmuffs, the price matches the material. I can't complain, it does its function. I tested the noise level and found that it indeed does dampen all background sounds and often cancel anything that could make noise. I have a clackety mouse and keyboard and I could not even hear any of it. Sounds that tend to be blaring can still be heard so don't expect needle-drop silence. You can definitely hear your surroundings. The Safety information does remind you not to increase the volume excessively in a noisome room so please be careful to preserve your hearing. I expect sound quality to decay with years of use. The thinner cord near the top might become worn down and cause sounds to filter in only one ear from improper care, but I cannot say they have happened so far. I do not expect to be replacing these within the next few years and if need be, I will update this review should my experience change. I tried to make this review as relevant to the consumer. I would recommend them, but if you can avoid the sound bleed by turning the volume lower, use the head set for shorter sessions, and take care of the cords, it's worth the cost.
