Gets their attention

I added this to daily math instruction; easy to set up on white board, fun for the kids to see. I used it with an every day elapsed time problem using our daily schedule...how long until lunch from right now?..etc. It was engaging and I saw real progress. The separate magnetic timeline shows another strategy. My only reason for giving 4 and not 5 starts is that because you have to help kids use it, or show them yourself, since you have to keep that center mechanism where it belongs and kids don't always get that, but that's not a big deal for me.

Not the best

This is a nice size. The hands are very difficult to move. It slides all over the board and is hard for the children to change the hours and minutes easily. Hard to use.
