Definitely works well.

Not really sure what the other guy is talking about, this product works great. I haven't had a sing cable pass then not work. I've made cables improperly just to be sure the tester works and and worked as it should have.

Problematic False Pass

I had the same issue as Kane. Cable gets a pass on the tester, but data com fails. Using with security camera runs. Everything else in the chain has been separately verified.

Doesnt work!, Dud cable shows as pass

did some networking in my garage. I created 2 runs of Cat5e and both tested fine, yet my printers would not be seen by the PC. I thought I had networking issues with the printers, or the PC not connecting to the switch or anything else as the tester said the cable was fine... Turns out I had a bad section of cat5e cable from a brand new 305m drum. I replaced the wiring and presto, all working and communicating this photo attached is with one of the dud/ faulty cables showing as passed
