These in shell peanuts have been a huge hit with the squirrels and birds in my yard! The peanuts seem fresh and clean, and I like that there's very little dust or broken shells in the bag. Peanuts in the Shell Loved by Squirrels/Big Birds
I use the Kaytee peanuts in the shell, along with white striped sunflower seeds, to feed squirrels and the bigger birds (cardinals, blue jays). Great deterrent for starlings. Their beaks can't crack them open so they stay away from the tray feeder I use. And the feed doesn't get shoved on the ground like the smaller seeds. Wish the price was a bit cheaper for the size of the bag, but I use them sparingly as special treats.
