Guide Gear ATV UTV Landscape Rake, 60"

In my previous comment, I said that the landscape rake did not come with a "tipper latch", which was based upon my inquiry to the technical department. I asked because there was inconsistency between the photo in my catalog and the ones on the website. I was told that it doesn't. Today, I received and opened the package to discover that the tripping latch IS INCLUDED! If the website allows me, I will rate this as a "5"! My previous rating was a "4". The "5" is based partly upon inspection of the quality of the parts and also based upon the 48", "Impact" Brand version that I bought and used last year behind my Honda ATV to prepare my shooting lanes for seeding. I expect the 50" to work even better behind my small tractor! I still recommend using the one point or three point hitch with an ATV or UTV but make sure that you buy one with an electric actuator or hydraulic cylinder or replace the manual crank with an electric actuator. The trip lever is a nice feature!. Compare prices elsewhere for a rake with the trip lever and this is a bargain!!!

I have the 48” rake with same attachment point. It works well but requires an electric or hydraulic actuator lift, not the “three point hitch” as advertised by SG or the “one point lift”. Both have manual cranks for adjusting the height of the rake for your UTV/ATV, not for quick or repeated lifting. The rake must be able to quickly lift at the end of a row, over obstructions or at a grass pile, then quickly lower. This 60” rake will also require some means to quickly lift and lower it. The photo in current catalogs is also misleading as it shows a “tipper latch” which doesn't come with either the hitch or the rake. I did order the rake anyway to use on my tractor with a true 3 point lift system.
