Fixed Blade

I have used this knife in a lot of different ways and it's worked flawlessly. it kept it's edge even after cutting things it wasn't intended to. very satisfied.

This is a very solid knife, full tang, about the size of a full size folding knife but is a fixed blade. The knife is sharp out of the box but not razor sharp. I like the fact that it is carbon steel instead of stainless steel like most of the less expensive blades. That means it is tougher and stronger. The only draw back is that the sheath was very tight when I first bought it. It was hard to pull out from the sheath. However, I used the butt of the handle to ply open the sheath and leave it in that position overnight; and by next day it was much better.
