Effective and lightweight pole pruner

This pole pruner is a lifesaver! It's 5 feet long and weighs less than 2 pounds. Made of solidly constructed aluminum, this Fiskars pole pruner is light weight, and still effective! It has a bypass cutting head that rotates and locks into place. Cutting is made easy with the use of a slide handle. There aren't a bunch of ropes on the outside to get tangled up. There is a ball pull at the end of the pole for additional reach. I was able to easily prune my 10 foot Laurel hedge with very thick branches and I pruned my ornamental cherry tree without needing to use a ladder I've been using an extension pole chainsaw to prune my tall hedges, but I had shoulder surgery and can't carry that weight. Fiskars Pruning Stik solved my issue!

Useful garden tool

I previously owned a trimmer that had a cord that constantly tangled as I reached for high branches. This trimmer is so easy to use and attacks 1" branches that I thought might be too thick. This tool makes quick work of trimming medium to large trees and bushes, and it is very lightweight when I'm on a ladder reaching up.
