Emma a faithful journey with Jane Austen

This edition is reasonably faithful to the Jane Austen novel and though it drags at times, it is very good. Since I am not realy conversant of life during the Regency Period of English country life, I suspect I am being presented with a rosy-view of the period. The estates did exist at the time requiring huge numbers of people to support the lavish lifestyle depicted here and the story-line is precisely focused on the story.
