Best Brake Proportioning Valve You Can Buy!!!

This brake proportioning valve is one of the coolest parts I've bought for my hot rod project. It mounts virtually anywhere and can be dialed all the way down to zero if you wish to lock the front brakes and warm up the rear tires. Very cool, very stealthy, and made in the USA.

Small and easy to work with

HOW TO ADJUST( from Deltrol) From the closed position, open the valve by turning the metal knob counter-clockwise until the desired flow volume is obtained. The colored band on the stem and the numerical readout indicate to what extent the valve is opened or closed. Each color on the color band represents one full turn. Find the scribe mark on the upper surface of the valve body. The number on the knob in proximity to the scribe mark will indicate 10ths of a turn the valve is opened. Record the information for future reference. Unless you continuously want to re-adjust for different uses, this is a nice addition. I tucked mine away so it is not easily seen or messed with, as it looks more like an inconspicuous part of the brake tees, etc. If you are doing burnouts (God, knows why anyone would want to burn up a nice set of tires) this may not be the one for you. Color coded .10th of an inch increments, a lock down set screw, everything practical and of good quality.

stealth brake hold

used this in a 28 rat rod , its located in cab where I can adjust it to no pressure to the rear brakes and smoke the tires with only front brakes holding, its a lot easier on the Trans then trying to over come rear brake pressure and possible trans overheating and damage , great for when you have no trans brake , then you can spin the knob a few times and Your friends or the guy next to you at the light will not even notice what just happened and back to rear braking :-) , a cool toy for sure
