My first impression of this container was how durable it seemed! When I poured my coffee into it from my old container I was surprised at the size difference and that this one holds so much more! The scoop it comes with snaps to the top inside with a magnet and is very secure. That's my favorite feature I think. The seal on this thing is air tight. I don't know how long it would take coffee to go stale in this thing but I would guess a while because once closed, there is no air getting in. It also looks nice on the counter if that's where you want to keep it. I was sad to replace my old coffee container but this is an upgrade I needed and am not regretting!

Wow! This is the perfect way to store your expensive beans! Heavy duty plastic container has a gasket on the attached lid to keep the lid on and airtight. The lid is hinged and has a snap tight fastener to keep everything closed and secure. Perfectly sized to hold a standard bag of coffee beans or ground coffee it keeps the safe and sound! Easily held in one hand when getting it out or putting away (actually why not leave it out?
