I have this placed in an area about 20 feet from my bed. I like to check the time when I wake up at night. The numbers are big and bright. The brightness and color can be adjusted. The reason I knocked off one star, is because the display is fuzzy, like it's out of focus. Other than that, I'm happy. I just hope to holds up and doesn't fail like so many other AcuRite products do!
