Nice for the price!

This rifle/pistol rest is just what I was looking for. Lightweight and inexpensive. It needed a simple strap modification for the the front rest. I used a Wrap it 18" stretch velcro strap. No tools required. I pulled the front rest out of the base and wrapped the strap around the bottom. It slid down into the base and everything lined up perfect. Caldwell should consider making this stand with a strap. Just a suggestion to the maker.

Christmas gift

It's a nice rest if you don't want to fumble around with bag rests. You have to adjust it a bit but that's not a problem. For me anyhow. I'm far from a purist. So far I've used it on a. 45-70, .308, 30-30 and a CVA Optima V2 muzzle loader.
