This rest is a great value and is a must if you do a lot of shooting. Price was much less than at my LGS. Ordered on Monday and it arrived at my local store on Wednesday. Can't beat that. Assembly is simple and it functions well. Ordered another one for a friend of mine. You will not be disappointed.

Worked as expected but bag split on first use.
I wasn't expecting competition level equipment but was expecting the bag to last more than one round of shooting. The rifle was a .308 Remington 700P w/ factory stock, so no fancy rails attached etc. to tear it. Additionally, it was only 33 rounds: 8 "sighter"/barrel fouling and 25 for record during a 200yd local IBS match. I was just dipping into this shooting arena from F-TR and bipods so will end up going with a better quality bag and fully adjustable rest.

Caldwell rifle bench shooting rest.
Caldwell Products are well constructed and this rest is all that. Very stable platform and adjustable for all shooting conditions. The reason I purchased this from Walmart was price and shipping cost. They beat my usual shooting supply stores hands down. Shipping was timely and the item arrived well packaged. The buyer should know, the rest comes with no assembly instructions. This is not a real issue as you can download them as a PDF file right from Caldwell, so this is not a real issue. For the price, this is an excellent rest and you will not be sorry if you purchase one.
