Worked great to bungie tie a basket too. We added extra bungie cords to make a dog carrier out of it. Works great for our 20 lb dog. My bike unfortunately had a plastic piece covering the seat bar so I was unable to install it on that bike. Also on that bike the bars didn't align correctly so you may have to try and return if it doesn't work for your bike.

Get it if your bike seat sits high

OK full disclosure this thing didnt work for my bike. However, it wasnt because the product was bad, this product is great! It is super sturdy, it came with all the parts, it would have been super easy to install however I bought a 26" bike as a 5'5" female and I have to put the seat all the way down in order to ride this thing. This means there is no where for this to attach to, as it requires you to attach it to your bike seat post. So check the anatomy of your bike before ordering, and you should be fine. I would recommend this thing 10/10. The price was great and the brand is reliable.
