I have now purchased 4 of these shelves to hold by book collection. They all have arrived without incident. The instructions were easy to follow and the shelves look beautiful. They are spacious and hold a lot of books and a few odds and ends to show off some of the books. They are sturdy and look good in any room. Would I buy them again, I already answered that when I said I have 4 of them. Order 2 the first time and loved the look so much I bought 2 more. Well worth the price.

This a very sturdy bookcase however, my brother did secure the backing with a piece of wood. Very sturdy although I don't think it is wood it probably wood and particle pieces I didnt read it to know for sure: you won't be disappointed. Another perk it was on sale.

Nice sturdy bookshelves

This was much sturdier than most other store bought bookshelves. Pictured instructions were slightly confusing in parts but I bought 2. By the 2'd shelf if made more sense and I was able to change the order of the steps to make it easier once I knew what I was doing. Nice and heavy.
