looks good from both sides

There are a few items in the River Crest collection and this bookshelf is my favorite. It looks like a much more expensive piece from a high end furniture store. It has the look of a reclaimed oak and an antique zinc metal. I have set up this item as part of a display and the nice thing is you can leave it free standing in a room, it looks good from the front or the back. You don't need to have it up against a wall if you don't want to (although that would look great too!) It is nice to have the option. It looks beautiful when you can see the X in the back. If I had the space, I'd like to get two of these shelves to place side by side.

WOW Restoration Aesthetic for Walmart PRICE!

I work at Walmart.com and Better Homes and Gardens is in the offices having a contest which I am participating in to win this piece of furniture. Funny enough I am moving into a new apartment next week and I have been looking all over for a piece just like this! I cannot believe the price points on this item. Everywhere I have looked I have found 300+$ for something comparable. There is a very similar piece at Restoration retailing for between $700-1045. I was really surprised by how much better this item looks in person! The photo doesn't do it justice, the photograph shows the piece and being lighter/ more yellow than what the color is in person. Personally I was delighted to see this in person because the colors are much nicer! The wood is a little darker and has a taupe gray finish to it. This piece would work very well with anything that is industrial or classical in design. I love how sturdy the piece is, you can really feel and see the quality of the piece- This is a very high end aesthetic for a Walmart PRICE! I also love the finishing of the wood, I am always hesitant about the finishes looking nice, but Better Homes and Gardens knocked it out of the park on this. I would absolutely love to have this piece in my home! It's really elegant and no one needs to know it only costs $169... still can't believe the price.

Sturdy yet not bulky! Perfect!

I was really hoping that this bookshelf wouldn't just be some cheap thing because let's be honest.. $150.. I wanted and was willing to pay for something nice. This exceeded every expectation I had!!!! The metal is real and heavy which allows for a very study bookshelf! The shelves look as though they are just sitting there but they are screwed in and secured! I have NOTHING but great thing to say about this one! Putting it together was really simple! Just make sure to organize and keep the area clean and read the directions and I just myself had it together in just over 30 mins maybe 45? Haha you can also see the tv stand we bought that compliments the shelf so well! In love with it and our new home :)
