The quality is not as good as something you would buy in a high-end furniture store, but of course it's not going to be. Anything you have to put together is never going to be as nice as a solid piece, but it's excellent for the price

All in all, for the price, this shelf is decent. I've never ordered a piece of furniture from Walmart before but was pleasantly surprised. This shelf was packed extremely well, lots of padding around all of the corners, no dents or dings, no missing pieces. Went together fairly easily with no drama. Knocking off one star for a few reasons: - The finish on the product. I ordered the white/wood tone shelf and some of the pieces are slightly different colors- it is more of a white wash look and the base/arch are slightly more gray tones compared to the sides (see photo). I am very detail oriented and most people might not notice this, and once things are on it, it is not a dealbreaker. The wood tone in the photo also looks fairly warm- I have old wood floors and from the picture online it looked like it would match pretty well. In person, the wood tone is much more cool- so keep that in mind if you're thinking similarly. - Four stars again for how some of the pieces line up. The top of the arch on the outside is a bit of an eyesore BUT you don't see it when assembled. I'm just surprised something wasn't done to make it look nicer. There are two lines of silver screws along the top (see photo). - Take note of the measurements and think about what you will be putting on the shelf. I do feel like I'm wanting the shelves to be 1-2" taller. There are 2 fixed shelves, and for them to be evenly spaced, they end up being a little over 8" tall. This will not fit a lot of books, picture frames, etc. A 5x7 frame will not stand up tall. The lip of the shelf overhangs (and looks nice) but makes the shelf more narrow. - There are no holes for cords in the back. I am planning on drilling one. - Some more positives- It is very sturdy once all put together, a few reviews mentioned it being flimsy and I don't see how, maybe they didn't follow directions. I put it together on my own and it took about 2 hours. This thing is solid. The listing mentioned adjustable feet, and was one of the reasons I purchased. I live in an old home that has settled and all the floors are sloping. There are adjustable feet on the base! I found it a lot easier to adjust the base with a level before attaching the whole shelf. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase!
