Good, solid can. Cheaper than most in the same category, but just as good. Wipes clean, inner plastic liner lifts out for easy bag placement and removal. I prefer the "slim" (sideways orientation, compared to most others on the market) for the space that works best in my kitchen. My adult daughter says it looks like I jumped a tax bracket, after replacing my previous plastic step-open bin lol.

This can is perfect for us. It sits at end of island. It is skinny and the foot peddle is on the side . The cover closes slowly and noislelessly. It holds 13 gallon bags and they are easy to put in and they do not move. Congrats to the engineers on this one.

Nice and Simple
Pros: There is a inner trash can which is nice if bag leaks. You can just lift the lid up to stay in place if you want without stepping. East to clean so far. The price is 1/2 of a Simple human. Cons: the step is harder to step on (as a woman) than the Simple human was. If you step hard on the pedal the lid will fly up, so you have to get used to the right pressure. The trash bag is tight fit, sometimes you have to grab the sides of the inner trash can and take it all out. Not big deal tho. Over all I'm happy after about a year or so.
