I received my trash can last week and so far so good. When I read the reviews on this a few people stated that if they go near it the lid would open well that has not happened to me. I can stand in front of it and it won't open until I put my hand over top of it. I love this s trash can and it looks nice in my kitchen

Perfect for our space. Opens and closes properly. Bag tucks in nicely and doesn't show. Only thing is where we have to put it in the kitchen we have to walk right past it and it will open if I'm too close. Not really a product issue just my kitchen size.

I was very impressed on how soon I received my trash can. Beautiful chrome. No dents or fingerprints. I gave it a five in spite that it was put at my front door without being packaged. I would have thought they would've put it in a box so that no damage would come to it. But I put the batteries in and it works wonderfully. It opens wide to allow you to put the garbage bags in properly. Very glad about my decision to buy it. Would definitely recommend it. It also compliments the water cooler as far as color.
