I am very happy with this wastebasket. From the many reviews I'd read that said the gold color is not gold, and from the reviewers photos of it, I felt that copper was more like what color it actually was, and the room that I wanted to purchase this wastebasket for has copper decor accents, so I ordered it in hopes that it would have a copperish finish. It did, and it fits the decor colors perfectly, so I was thrilled. I have several Nine Stars trash cans/wastebaskets and love all of them. I read reviews where people have problems with some of them but I have never had a problem with any of my Nine Stars products. This 'gold' Nine Stars touchless sensor wastebasket is lovely. It works great, as do all of my other Nine Stars touchless sensor trash cans/wastebaskets. It is just so easy to set up and to operate. The finish on mine arrived perfect with no flaws and with everything working properly. For shoppers looking to purchase this particular small 'gold' trash can just know that like the other reviews saying it is not gold color, it is not gold, it is copperish. I am completely happy with mine. It is a small trash can and is just the right size for where I wanted to put it. I also read lots of reviews for this, and for various other products, where people are unhappy with the sizes they receive, saying the items/products are smaller than they expected. My suggestion is for people to measure what size they want/need and then compare that to what the size is that is listed in the product description. Visually look at a tape measure to 'see'/compare the product description's size measurements to see if the measurements fit their needs or idea of what they want/need. Granted, some types of products are smaller than is advertised or listed, but I've never found a size error in this type of product. I'm going to be ordering another Nine Stars trash can/wastebasket this week for somewhere else in my home and feel confident that it will be another great addition to our home.
